Meet our Team

President

Carlos A. Córdova, MS, LMHC, BCBA, is owner and President of Coral CMHC, an

institution founded in October 2006. With more than 30 years of experience working in the field of psychology and pedagogy, Mr. Córdova has worked in higher education, teaching different disciplines and as a head professor of psychology. His experience in the clinical field includes working with individuals, family psychotherapies, and group therapies, as well as substance abuse with children, teenagers and adults. Mr Córdova has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2008, closely linked to the agency of persons with disabilities (APD). He provides support, instruction and monitoring services to behavior focus group home staff as well as their residents in the area of ​​rehabilitation . Mr. Córdova serves as supervisor for the psychology board and for the BACB board.

Vice President

Lecsys L. Alonso, MS, LMHC, BCBA, is owner and Vice President of Coral

CMHC, an organization founded in October 2006. She has more than 35 years experience in the special education field with a specialty in typhopedagogy and working with disabled children including those who are deaf, blind and visually impaired. Ms. Alonso has worked in the clinical area of psychology in individual, family, and group therapies as well as substance abuse. She has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2008 and is accredited in her work with the agency of people with disabilities (APD). She provides support, instruction and monitoring services to behavior focus group home staff and as well as their residents in the area of ​​rehabilitation . Ms. Alonso serves as supervisor for the psychology board and for the BACB board.

Clinical Director

Mr. Alvaro Domenech, LCSW is a Qualified Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years of progressive experience in Clinical Social Work, Management and Leadership. Mr. Domenech earned his Masters Degree in Social Work from Barry University in 1995. In that same year Mr. Domenech was hired to teach and subsequently coordinate the Divorce program and Children's Psychiatric Center. He retired from Institute for Child and Family Health, after 20 years of service in December of 2015. His last appointment at ICFH which lasted 8 years was Director of Outreach program. Mr. Domenech became a Clinical Director in January 2016 where he worked to grow the mission and service statement of his organization until October 2019. Mr. Domenech is currently Clinical Director of Coral CMHC and he specializes in clinical work with children, adolescents, adults and families. He has training in psychoanalytic and evidenced based therapies, and is a qualified internship supervisor for Florida International University, Barry University and Nova South Eastern University. He is also highly skilled in clinical work with co-occurring disorders.
